Griots Results – Short Version

Wow! What an amazing night! I’ll be working on a REAL post for this coming week, with photographs and more descriptions of the evening’s performances (gotta give my photographers some time to edit), but for those of you who are curious who won what, I’m going to do a quick and dirty post of all the results. 32. MN SPOKEN WORD HALL OF FAME (NATIONAL) (The national Spoken Word movement also has a long tradition that should be recognized and highlighted. Because Minnesota has a long standing focus on the history and tradition of the art form, we included this category in order to recognized artists that have made significant contributions to the development of the Spoken Word art form.)
